SMS Polling and Crowd Sourcing
GeoPoll is a text based application that allows for polling in an almost unlimited
number of situations. Polling can be conducted in a live audience, radio audience
or through any medium where the polling information can be conveyed to a group.
Organizations, local, regional, and national governments can all use polling to
gain information on public opinion or the opinions of a select group. Mobile Accord
facilitates SMS polling through any mobile operator in the world. To date, Mobile
Accord has deployed polling systems in conjunction with the World Bank initiatives
and the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
