AirCredit overview

AirCredit, a service of Mobile Accord, is an interoperable, MNO agonistic mobile money distribution system allowing any SMS capable mobile phone to receive and transfer funds. The Air Credit system allows for the secure exchange of currency between banks and end users globally, nationally, or regionally via the mobile device. The software that drives Air Credit can be integrated with any financial institution and wireless operator worldwide.

Through the mobile device, Air Credit enables the:

Purchase of items at participating retail stores
Transfer money to friends and family (Peer to Peer)
Redemption of money at participating banks, retail outlets, or remittance centers
